While Jules has extensive skill and experience using Sand/Cement and Acrylic Render, he is also a Certified Natural Materials Artisan with Rockcote Australia and can provide beautiful internal and external alternative finishes to compliment any Eco-friendly Build.

With certification from Rockcote and Giorgio Graesan, Jules specialises in creating the custom feature walls, bathroom and kitchen splashbacks with Venetian Plastering, Tadelakt, Otsumigaki and various other premium finishes.

Cost estimates can be provided from building plans, in conjunction with your architect or Jules is available to visit your site to discuss your needs. Surf Edge Rendering was established in 2007 when Jules moved to the coast with his family.

Prior to this Jules rendered across Melbourne. With a resurgence in popularity of polished plasters in Australia, Jules fell in love with the art of Marmorino and Venetian plastering. Jules has immersed himself in understanding the uses of these materials and techniques. As well as seeking professional mentors to learn this art and trade, Jules has furthered his education with courses with Rockcote and Italian specialist Giorgio Graesan.

Certification as an Artisan with Rockcote is a highly sort after title that Jules has worked hard to achieve. As a registered Artisan Jules is able to supply and work with Rockcote natural materials. By developing natural building materials compatible with modern construction, Rockcote is supporting the revival of the traditional plaster arts and the stunning finishes that were brought to life by the ancient artisans.
Jules has collaborated with other artisans, and worked solo, across the state, working on an extensive portfolio of prestigious building projects.
